Children and Youth
Our Lord loves children, and so do we! There’s lots of energy of all ages in our classrooms. Let us come alongside you as you seek to raise your children in the ways of Christ. We’ll need your wisdom to raise our kids well, too.
Birth–5th Grade, Sundays During Worship
During our worship service, children from birth through fifth grade are invited to participate in fun, engaging, and secure classes and nurseries where they learn about the God who loves them.
Our screened and trained volunteers teach age-appropriate Bible lessons, sing songs, and play with the children and students.
Check-in for SoDu Kids is easy to find and opens 15 minutes before the service begins.
6th–12th Grade, Monday Nights, 6:30–8:30 p.m.
Youth ministry at South Durham Church exists to come alongside parents and caregivers in the discipleship of children as they grow into adulthood. Our aim is to make spiritually mature disciples who are equipped to do the work of ministry, preparing youth for the independence of the college years and beyond.
Our screened and trained youth leaders engage the students in Bible study, fun activities, prayer, events, and discipleship relationships.
SoDu Youth meets weekly on Monday nights from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Christ the King Church, 4405 Hope Valley Rd., Durham, NC 27707.
