Meeting at 4 p.m. on Sundays beginning February 11!
4405 Hope Valley Road in Durham, NC
Commissioning Service, 2/11
Join us on our first Sunday at the new place and time! We're here to help people find the joy they were made for through Jesus Christ. On Sunday, February 11, we're inviting friends from all over Durham to thank God for the first five years at South Durham Church and to ask His blessing on this new season of ministry!
We're partnering with Christ the King Moravian Church to meet in their wonderful facility at 4405 Hope Valley Road, Durham, on Sunday afternoons. It's an inviting space with great nurseries and classrooms for children. We're thankful for their generous hospitality!
What should I expect?
Expect clear signage and a warm welcome guiding you into childcare check-in and our worship service. Our service includes Scripture readings, contemporary and traditional songs, prayers, a message, and Communion. Expect to sense God's love. We look forward to meeting you!
What should I wear?
Whatever you want! You are welcome to come as you are. Some of us will be dressed more casually, and some more formally. We don't want dress to be a hindrance to anyone coming to worship God.
We provide secure and fun childcare for children 0 through pre-K during our worship service. Check-in for childcare begins at 3:45 p.m. Older children are invited to worship with their families in the main service.
Elementary SchoolersWe would love to come alongside you as you raise your elementary-aged children! We provide age-graded teaching for them in our Community Groups.
Your teens will be well cared for at South Durham! Youth meet weekly for Bible study and fun. Contact us for more details.
